NASA : Satellite Picture Shows Snow-covered U.S. Deep Freeze.- Una imagen satelital que muestra al cielo estadounidense como un congelador

Hola amigos: AL VUELO DE UN QUINDE EL BLOG., hemos recibido de la Agencia Espacial NASA, la imagen captada por el Satélite del cielo estadounidense NOAA's GOES-East satellite que se asemeja como un congelador; proporcionado un vistazo a los dos tercios orientales frígidas de los EE.UU. el 7 de enero de 2015, que muestra un manto de nieve del norte, nieve por efecto lago de los Grandes Lagos y las nubes detrás del frente frío ártico.

NASA, nos dice "...Una imagen visible captada a las 11 am EST mostró los efectos del último brote Ártico. El frente frío que traía el aire del Ártico se trasladó hasta el sur de la Florida, y se estiró hacia atrás sobre el Golfo de México y al oeste de Texas. La imagen muestra nubes detrás el límite frontal que se extiende desde las Carolinas al oeste sobre el Heartland. Más al norte, una banda ancha de la nieve caída cubre el suelo de Nueva Inglaterra al oeste de Montana, con ríos que aparecen como venas. El GOES-Oriente imagen de satélite muestra también efecto lago nieves azotado por el viento fuera de los Grandes Lagos, que sopla hacia el sureste. Mientras tanto, la Florida, punto caliente de la nación parecía casi libre de nubes......."

Satellite Picture Shows Snow-covered U.S. Deep Freeze

NOAA's GOES-East satellite provided a look at the frigid eastern two-thirds of the U.S. on Jan. 7, 2015, that shows a blanket of northern snow, lake-effect snow from the Great Lakes and clouds behind the Arctic cold front.

A visible picture captured at 11 a.m. EST showed the effects of the latest Arctic outbreak. The cold front that brought the Arctic air moved as far south as Florida, and stretched back over the Gulf of Mexico and just west of Texas. The image shows clouds behind the frontal boundary stretching from the Carolinas west over the Heartland. Farther north, a wide band of fallen snow covers the ground from New England west to Montana, with rivers appearing like veins. The GOES-East satellite image also shows wind-whipped lake-effect snows off the Great Lakes, blowing to the southeast. Meanwhile, Florida, the nation's warm spot appeared almost cloud-free.
